British Library Reading Room at Boston Spa https://www.bl.uk/visit/reading-rooms/boston-spa
The British Library has a reading room at Boston Spa in Wetherby which is about an hour away on the A1. If you wish to use it you will need to register for a reader pass in advance and you can ask for up to ten items (per day) from the British Library lending collections to be brought there in advance of your visit. Make sure you give plenty of notice as the minimum pre-order time is 48 hours and call on the day before you travel to ensure your visit can still go ahead. Given the current situation, you will also need to make sure you follow current government guidelines about travel between areas (tiers) as Boston Spa lies outside of the South Yorkshire region, social distancing, handwashing and the wearing of face coverings.
